I didn't get much done this weekend, owing to a visit from my sister and her two boys, along with my seemingly inherent sloth-like tendencies. However, as I sat on the couch in anticipation of the Red Wings and Penguins, I was able to reflect on the way social software has become an integral part of my work and academic pursuits. After a week of learning about new applications, I am eager to explore podcasts, a SKYPE conference call, and the inner workings of Zotero(sounds like an SUV from Kia). Google Docs looks intriguing as well. I enjoy writing and researching papers, and this appears to be a much easier method of creating a document with proper formatting and referencing. In summary, I am able to streamline my operation using available technology. I hope to attain a high level of progress with the software as we continue to learn the intricacies of each application. This course has been an informative process, and now I am able to see potential uses of social software for the students, staff and professors in our program.

I know how it goes Clark. Life happens.
Glad to see you checking out the tools and imagining how you would use them as part of a personal learning environment.
I did the same think Clarke. Detroit won again tonight. It was so good. If Detroit wins I win my schools hockey pool. $200 bucks.
Yipee...
welcome to the class! I look forward to chatting with you! Looks like you are more than caught up! way to go!
